5 stars "Really" and "Naturally" are the real J.J. Cale
Everyone has their favorites, but being a J.J. Cale fan for a lot longer than I'd wish to admit (has it really been almost 30 years?) I'd say that you'd do a lot better by getting "Naturally" and "Really" than any "best of", anthology or live album. Maybe "Troubador" would round it out with "Cocaine", but you start getting away from the real meat of J.J.'s sound and into filler with the other albums.

J.J.'s music can be witty, foot-tapping ditties, or can be absolutely boring. So stick with the …

Sorry to be a party pooper gang, but I just don't like this CD that much. I like 'Lies', it's a great song, great band performance, classic Cale lead guitar, but the rest...

My first problem with this CD is that I really don't like Cale's vocal performances - they sound UGLY...honestly. No, not rootsy or passionate - ugly.

Secondly, the songs. I've had the CD for ages now. I have all of Cale's stuff I think. The songs just don't really stand out from one and other...they just kind of melt into a…
