5 stars Ja Rules
After listening to the CD more and more I had to make another review. This CD has a whole different feel than his first album "venni vetti vecci." "Rule 3:36" has less of the gangster rap that his first album was so full of.

I like the darker songs like "6 Feet Underground", "Die", "F--- You", and "The Rule Won't Die."

But I also like the other songs like "Between Me and You", "Put it On Me", "It's Your Life", and "One of Us."

I really love this album... you guys gotta check it out.

3 stars An Average Attempt
Ja Rule sorta switches up his style for this one from the hardcore thug with no feelings to a a sentimental like artist.

This album doesnt measure up to Venni Vetti Vicci which was a pretty good debut cd. It does have its moments though like Between Me & You, Put It On me, 6 Feet underground, Love me hate me, and One of Us. Unfortunately the rest of the album falls into mediocrity. Mostly because of the production and he didnt venture out to find different producers so the non stand out cuts all…
