Overview Edit

"Let's Get Loud" is the fifth and final single from Jennifer Lopez's debut album, On the 6 (1999). Released in 2000, the single was not able to enter the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, though it did manage to chart on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play at number thirty-nine. The song earned Lopez her second consecutive nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2001 (the first being for "Waiting for Tonight" the previous year).

The song's music video was directed by Jeffrey Doe and filmed live at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

The song was originally written for Gloria Estefan, but feeling it was a little too similar to many of her previous songs, she decided that Lopez could put a new spin on it and would have more fun with it. Though the song was never officially released in the U.S. it is considered to be Lopez's signature song.

5 stars What You Waiting For? "Let's Get LOUD"
First of all this CD has killer remixes that when you first listen to it, it make you smile and want to dance. People, This single has great dance remixes of "Let's Get LOUD" they are not "Tacky Ten Minute Dance Remixes" like the "Waiting For Tonight" remixes infact they are about as long as the regular version of the song but sound nothing like each other! This may not be Jennifer Lopez's best song but I am positive that this is one of her best remixed songs. If you people heard the "Waiting Fo…

3 stars Not As Spicy As One Would Hope
"Let's Get Loud" is one of the stand-out tracks on Jennifer Lopez's debut album "On The 6," and remixes of the song only made my curiosity raise, as I was sure going to hear some great dance mixes to follow in the footsteps of Pablo Flores' "If You Had My Love" mixes.

Wow...I was incredibly wrong. First, the mixes aren't that long. I don't understand why some people are so down on loooong remixes? They are fab! The "Waiting For Tonight" mixes were some of the best mixes that I've heard, it's abo…
