Jim Lauderdale is a musician, singer-songwriter, radio show host and concert emcee. Playing a combination of country and bluegrass musicand identified as one of the country's leading proponents of Americana music, Lauderdale has become a fixture in both the growing Americana music scene as well as traditional country and bluegrass. Lauderdale has written a number of hit songs recorded by other performers.
