John Congleton

John Congleton born April 5, 1977 in Lubbock, Texas, is best known as a Grammy nominated producer/engineer/mixer who made a name for himself in the alternative rock underground via production of his own band, The Paper Chase, and for many other artists. Congleton's production is usually notable by a signature dark sound and a rhythm section that is very large and enveloping. He continues to be managed by Adam Katz and Dana Childs of Tsunami Entertainment in Los Angeles.

In addition to his production work Congleton still continues to front the indie rock band, The Paper Chase, and write music for various projects, including MTV's Jackass, the Discovery Channel, and several Halloween sound effects/music CDs.
