English DJ John Digweed has been at the forefront of progressive house and trance for many years. His collaborations with Sasha have been very successful, with mix albums such as Renaissance (1994) and Northern Exposure (1996) being popular with dance music fans. He has also contributed three mix albums to the Global Underground series, and one to the Fabric series. Digweed's production alias is Bedrock, where he collaborates with Nick Muir; perhaps their best-known track is "For What You Dream Of", which appeared on the soundtrack to the Scottish film Trainspotting.
