Jonas Brothers

On the day your dad becomes the leader of the free world you can probably expect to be allowed to stay up a little later – even if the next day is a school day. So, while mom and dad went to countless balls, danced to Beyoncé singing and wondered about Aretha’s hat, Malia and Sasha Obama, 10 and 7 respectively, had a great night of their own. They went to the movies to see High School Musical 3 and Bolt, and familiarized themselves with their new home during a fun scavenger hunt. Best of all was the prize at the end of the game - the girls' favorite singers, The Jonas Brothers! It's not every day you get to meet your musical heroes, but then it's not every day you get to move into The White House either.

Disney's teen-pop phenomenon The Jonas Brothers will make a lot of teenage girls very happy this Tuesday with the release of their new album A Little Bit Longer. The 12-song record is expected to focus on typical teenage topics, like girls and parties, as well as less typical subjects such as the trappings of fame and fortune. But it's the title track that the brothers are relying on to really make their fans talk: "A Little Bit Longer" is young Nick Jonas' account of his struggle with diabetes. Older brother Kevin said "Nick sings this song every night and it brings people to tears. It's amazing."
