Ok. The other two are entitled to their opinion about her being horrible or whatever but the fact is they just aren't of that vocal style or genre. Should she be on MTV? Probably not, but primarily because MTV does not normally promote any other genre's besides the default Rock, Rap, Pop, and R&B. If you love that older 70's kind of blues sound this would fit you perfectly. She is very talented for her age. Her songs range from the the slower type as "For the Love of You" to the more upbeat "Super Duper Love". So. In conclusion if you a type of person that expands their music collection for the love it, or are just a huge fan of that kind of 70's sound with the blues vocal style this is for you. If not you'll just have a view like the others who seemed to have focused on her single which generally isn't even the focus of the artist and is rather the record companies general song used to introduce an artist.

It's not enough that we listen to countless rappers steal lyrics, cords, and whole bars of rock to use in some studio designed crap that doesn't resemble the closest bit of musical talent, but now whole songs. The White Stripes make a point of playing raw original rock influenced by blues and even country while paying homage to the great rock of the past. Joss Stone emasculated the song, and twisted it into another cookie cutter Mariah Carey rip off to whine to. How many different sounds can we get out of her lungs and call it crooning...Wow, maybe if she played any of the music herself I could at least respect that, but like all R&B and rappers alike, that's just too much work. Steal it, that's the easy way out.
