Biography

Edit

Kathryn Dawn Lang, better known as k.d. lang, is a multi-award winning country singer-songwriter from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Lang has become one of countries biggest cross-over stars through the power of her rich, perfect voice and has collaborated with many big name stars across many genres, most notably; Roy Orbison, Bonnie Raitt, Madeleine Peyroux and Tony Bennett. Although her fame may be due, in some part, to the controversy that surrounded her "coming-out" and becoming country music's first openly gay star. Lang has released more than ten albums in her career but is probably best known for her world-wide smash hit single "Constant Craving".
