5 stars Just beautiful songs
I did not know Kathy Troccoli was a "Christian" singer when I bought this album. In fact, I had never heard of her. I bought it because I heard "If I'm Not In Love" on the radio and was swept away. It remains one of my favorite songs of any artist. What a lovely, clear, powerful voice! I became so mesmerized, it was easy to feel she was right there singing to me. 3 stars This was her major record label debut
This was alot of firsts in my walk of faith as it was the first Christian concert I went to it was at Northland Community Church in Longwood, FL. It was also one of the first Christian albums I would buy. The words were good, and the message was conveyed rather well, but it was definitely overproduced, and synthesized. The concert was just o.k. she can sing there's no denying that, but she used accompaniment tapes instead of a live band at the concert. She did some of the standards here such as:…
