I really didn't pay much attention to Lenny Kravitz's earlier music. One day, I was rushing past the Hard Rock Cafe on my way to the bank, trying to get there before it closed, and I caught the chorus of this song. It was like I'd been hit with a lightning bolt. It pulled at something in me. I don't care what some of these bozos who have written reviews say; this song is one of the most painfully beautiful pieces I have heard in a long time. I really dislike Lenny's use of the word dragonfly. Obviously he has no respect for insects. Without insects this world would be a disaster. No food for fish means no food for eagles which means no food for me. Wait a second. I am not allowed to eat eagles.
