Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water is the third album by Limp Bizkit, released on October 15, 2000 through Interscope Records. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 1.05 million copies in its first week and was the 18(th) best-selling album of the 2000s in the US.

According to the RIAA website, the album has sold over 6 million copies in the United States alone as of 2008 and an overall 12 million worldwide. It features the singles "My Generation", "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)", "Take A Look Around", "Boiler", and "My Way".

5 stars Must admit that this is a good album
Especially now that nu-metal is dead and korn and linkin park are the only thriving nu-metal bands it is embarrasing to admit to liking a limp bizkit album. I am not a huge limp bizkit fan, but this album is definately worth listening too. Every song on this album is entertaining if you are a hard rock fan. This album is definately a good album to get the adrenaline going. Even if you are embarrased to have anyone know that you are listening to limp bizkit it is definately worth listening to in secret.

2 stars Still, overall, unlistenable.
Most albums take some time to get in to. I've had CD's that I absolutely hated and then given some time, I fell in love with them. Chocolate Starfish, no matter how many times I listen to it, is one of the worst CD's I own. First off, I'm not just another "3 Dollar Bill Yall is the only good CD, Wes is the only good band member" type person who uses the word sell-out on any band that gets radio play.
