Overview Edit

A Little More Personal (Raw) is the sophomore studio album by American recording artist Lindsay Lohan. It was released in the United States on December 6, 2005 (see 2005 in music), by Casablanca Records. Song-writers and producers on the album include Kara DioGuardi, Greg Wells, and Ben Moody. The album was one of the high-selling albums from the record label in a few years, selling 550,000 in the United States. Despite this, is was less successful than Lohan's previous album.

The album received mostly mixed reviews, with critics commenting that, "In the long run, while still far from being an epic moment in current pop history, the bulk of A Little More Personal (RAW) easily ranks a few shades higher than her 2004 debut." In the United States, the album peaked at #20 on the Billboard 200, selling 82,000 copies in its first week. Worldwide, the album has sold over 1 million copies to date. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA for shipping 500,000 copies

The first single from A Little More Personal, "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)", was a success, peaking at #57 on the Billboard Hot 100, staying on the chart for seven weeks. The song also peaked at #41 on the Billboard Pop 100. The song was also successful in Australia, peaking at #7. "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)" received heavy airplay on MTV's Total Request Live. "I Live for the Day" was released originally going to be released internationally, but was only released in Austrailia, although it failed to chart on the ARIA Charts. "Fastlane" was originally going to be released as the third single, but plans for this were later scrapped. Lohan promoted the album by performing in a number of live performances.

The album was originally called "There's Only One Angel In Heaven", according to www.eil.com. The site says "There's Only One Angel In Heaven" is the 2nd album and follow-up from "Speak" and is scheduled to include bonus track(s), a picture sleeve and an obi-strip.

4 stars STEPPING UP, LOOKING BACK, AND ROCKING HARD
Four ROCKING Stars!! Lindsay, Rocks! On my third pass thru 'my first' LL CD, she gains another star. And it gets better and better. Her beautiful rangy voice is on target, while still leaving 'room to grow' for the future, which is bright based on this CD. (Had to delete my previous review b/c Amazon won't let you upgrade star ratings any other way.)

Her dad is obviously on her mind as she deals, not two, but to my ears, four savvy songs in his direction, reaching out and looking back at the sa…

1 stars 'tis sad, oh so sad.
i'm not really a kid (i'm 19), i just didn't want to have to give an email address to post my comment. i think that it is sad that once every disney channel child actress that is remotely attractive grows up, they sell themselves to get more money. why do they find it necessary to use their bodies and sex to sell stuff just to make their wallet a little fatter? the love of money blinds people, and it takes away their dignity, integrity, and nobility. truth be told, i have never even heard a loha…
