Lisa Loeb is best known for her 1994 breakthrough single "Stay(I Miss You)" from the film Reality Bites. She is a singer-songwriter and actress discovered by friend and neighbour Ethan Hawke who presented a tape of her single to then director Ben Stiller, who agreed to use it in his film giving Loeb her big break. Her debut album Tails (1995) was well received by critics and the public and achieved gold status. She has released eight albums and two EPs in her career and had three top forty hits. Currently she is working as a US television presenter, working on several shows most notably, Dweezil & Lisa on the Food Network and The View on ABC.
