Old, new, borrowed, not blue. The best way to describe this album. The band borrowed from old three cord rock and gives it a new sound. They are loud and bodacious. But they have the right rythem and beat. On many songs they bring back flashes of Seventies and Eighties bands, like The Producers or Elvis Costello. Now this is a review of the BONUS DISC, which comes with Atomic. It is called the Dirty Martini Sampler and comes with 3 audio tracks and 1 music video for your PC. The first song is from Lit, which is an upbeat acoustic version of Down. Its done with a single acoustic guitar and vocals. In fact, the singer probably did it by himself without the band. Not bad, but not rocking like the original version of Down. The second song on the Dirty Martini Sampler is a song by Handsome Devil called Makin'…
