I have to disagreeJudging by the cover and the song list, this is a recording I have been looking for for years. I have it on a cassette. Sure, it's a rerecording. Sure, the production is muddy (so is Exile on Main Street). But the drumming, energy and overall performance are inspired. These are the best versions of Tutti, Good Golly, Rip it Up and especially Long Tall Sally that I have ever heard, bar none. And I see that somebody is willing to part with it for under $3 - which is about what I paid 15 years ago. This one will hold its value.
A WASTE OF MONEYI AM A FAN OF LITLE RICHARD AND WAS LOOKING FOR ORIGINAL ARRANGEMENTS AS RECORDED IN THE LATE 50'S ON SPECIALITY LABEL. SAVE YOUR MONEY. THIS IS ALL RE-RECORDED BY A JAPANESE LABEL AND IS NOWHERE CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL RECORDINGS. IT IS JUNK! AND I AM THROWING IT AWAY. IT IS LITTLE RICHARDS VOICE BUT WHY HE EVER ALLOWED THIS TO BE PRODUCED IS BEYOND ME.
