Magnum is a English hard rock/AOR group, hailing from Birmingham. The band was founded in 1972 and is one of the oldest British bands in their type of music.

Founding members are guitarist/songwriter Tony Clarkin and singer Bob Catley.

Between 1995 and 2002 the band was inactive. Bob Catley pursued a solo career.

Current members are, next to Clarkin and Catley, Mark Stanway (keyboards), Al Barrow (bass guitar) and Harry James (drums/ex-Thunder).
