Much maligned British pop-rock band McFly can afford to shrug off the criticisms; after all they have earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records (as the youngest band to have a debut album, Room on the 3rd Floor, enter the UK charts at No.1). Tom Fletcher has distinguished himself as the writer of ten UK No.1 singles (which includes three written for Busted) – and all before his 21st birthday. Three albums, a soundtrack album (for Just My Luck in which they also had acting roles) and a greatest hits collection into their career, the band has already won several awards including the 2005 BRIT award for Best Pop Act.
