Merle Colby Allin, Jr. (born 1 September 1953) is an American electric bass player and the older brother of the late punk rock singer/songwriter/performance artist GG Allin.
Merle Allin (or "Pinkie" - being GG Allin's nickname for his elder brother) performed in three groups that featured GG Allin: Malpractice, The AIDS Brigade and The Murder Junkies, playing the electric bass guitar. He currently continues the Murder Junkies, his brother's last backing band, with varying new singers, new guitarist "Scotty" Wood, and original drummer Donald "Dino" Saches.
