5 stars Here's the deal with S&M...
If you've ever considered buying any Metallica album, get this one first. It's essentially a greatest hits collection (which they never have officially released) with two new songs, -Human and No Leaf Clover. This album is simply incredible. The orchestra (conducted by Michael Kamen, who helped Metallica design "Nothing Else Matters") and the band sound great together; saying anything less than that would be an injustice. 3 stars Not what I expected
I originally bought this album because of the "teasers" I heard on the radio ("For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "Hero of the Day"). And, after getting it, my initial reaction was very positive.

However, after listening to it for a couple of weeks, I realized that perhaps Metallica had made a mistake in making this album.

First off, the thing that disappointed me the most was the song selection. The album started off very well with "The Ecstasy of Gold" seamlessly leading into "The Call of the Ktulu,…
