Mike Jones is a Texas-born Southern rapper, actor and businessman. "Still Tippin'" is his best known solo release, though the in-demand rapper has a long list of collaborations to his credit.
In order to pursue his passion for rap music he set up an independent record label Ice Age Entertainment in 2001. He came to the attention of Michael Watts of the Swisha House label and released 1st Round Draft Picks in 2003 and a series of mixtapes including Runnin' the Game. In 2005 Jones released the album Who is Mike Jones?, featuring collaborations with Big Moe and Paul Wall, which went to No.3 on the Billboard 200 and subsequently went double platinum.
In addition to his recording career, Jones acted in the first series of Prison Break and is in the process of making an album and DVD biopic of his life.
