is an Okinawan band from Urasoe, Okinawa, Japan consisting of 3 members. When they were aged 19, they released their first album. They have released five studio recordings, one single, and one live concert DVD. In 2001, despite low commercial attention, they sold over two-million records from the album Message. Several years afterwards they released more albums with just as much success.
Although Mongol800 does not advertise at all, they have released two videos that were a big surprise to their fan base.
#Bonnou No Buruusu: Showing a live studio recording session.
#Asatoya Yuntaku: A traditional Okinawan folk song they covered showing a live performance outside the fencelines of Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan.
Mongol800's music encompasses daily life with many love songs that are heart hitting such as Ryukyu Aika, Sayonara, and the most popular song amongst all their fans; Chisana Koi No Uta. In English, it means Small Love Song.
