3 stars THE American hard-rock classic
I bought this album in 1973 as a 13 year-old growing up in England. It was faster and more synthesised than the Zeppelin, Sabbath and Purple I was listening to at the time and I loved it! I still have that same record in my possession: a little worn and scratched but nevertheless going strong.

I suppose I should really give this 5 stars, considering its originality and the pleasure it has given me over the years, but I can't. The reason: this was the record that spawned the thousand second-rate …
