Rocks surprisingly hardAlthough it fades a bit in the final stretch, "Your Arsenal" rocks pretty hard, with Moz in complete rock star mode. He's moody, coy, pouty, sexual, asexual and ethereal(especially on the haunting "We'll Let You Know")and I found this to be one of his very best efforts. Encompassing all of his strengths and few of his musical weaknesses, the CD is tight, compact and extremely well-produced.Also check out the live album "Beethoven Was Deaf", which includes much of the material found here in a live, rocking format.
Morrissey says "hello" to the worldHas to be his most reconized album. I find people that arent hard core fans might happen to have this album. Which pretty much is a good commentary of it. Very well done and an introduction to Moz's current (and best) backing band. Even nominated for a Grammy. "Tommorow" showcases Morrissey's talent for "I was upset but I could care less" lament perfectly. A quality and accessible album that doesnt test your patience for the man. Even though thats part of Moz's allure.
