Biography

Edit

MxPx are a three piece punk band formed in 1992 in Bremerton, Washington. The band began when the trio, Mike Herrera, Yuri Ruley and Andy Husted were still in High School. They were picked up by Tooth & Nail Records and released their debut album Pokinatcha in 1994.

The band went on to a steady schedule of record releases and touring, with a line-up change in 2005 when Tom Wisniewski replaced Andy Husted.

In 2006 the band achieved a rare feat for a punk band, when they were presented with the keys to Bremerton by the mayor. Their track, "Move to Bremerton" was used by the local Community Renewal Agency to promote the city.

2007 and the band took their music to an international audience with a tour of Europe and Australia, they are currently promoting their most recent album Secret Weapon.
