Biography

Edit

Of a Revolution, or O.A.R., are a US rock band formed at Ohio State University, whose success has spread from the campuses to the charts.

They released their debut album in 1997, and followed this with a steady schedule of touring, gradually building a reputation on the college circuit. The hard work invested paid off in 2001 when the Risen album, a mix of tracks from their first two albums plus some new material, took the band into the Billboard Internet charts. This off-campus success heralded their move towards mainstream recognition which was realised by the follow-up album. In Between Now and Then made the Billboard Top 200 chart and subsequent releases have done better again.
