Overview Edit

Like years passed, the 2006 Fanclub Single is a 7 in. vinyl release released on band's Ten Club label.

Side-A of the release is a cover of The Who's "Love, Reign o'er Me" and so the cover of the single is an abstract drawing of a man's head, listening to earphones, with stylized rain pouring down over it. The man's face is a pink psychedelic collage with geometric shapes hidden in the texture. This version was recorded at Studio X in Seattle and Southern Tracks in Atlanta.

The song was recorded for the 2007 film, Reign Over Me that starred Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle.

Side-B is a cover of Neil Young's "Rockin' In the Free World," a staple tune in Pearl Jam's live rotation by 2003.

This particular version was recorded live in Australia with both Pearl Jam and U2 in 2006. The song features additional lyrics by Eddie Vedder and Bono.
