Prince Po is an American rapper and former member of the rap duo Organized Konfusion with Pharaohe Monch. Originally the duo was called Simply to Positive. Prince Poetry MC'd and Monch beat-boxed. Following the separation of Organized Konfusion after their 1997 album "The Equinox", Prince Po (formerly Prince Poetry) met underground producer Danger Mouse in 2002 and then signed to the Warp Records subsidiary Lex Records in 2004 with three EPs and his debut solo album "The Slickness" featuring production from Lex Records own Danger Mouse and Jel, along with Madlib and British producer Richard X. In 2006 he released his second album on Traffic Entertainment, although the album lacked the production quality of The Slickness with only Madlib returning from the previous album. He is also the founder of Nasty Habits Entertainment and a member of the private hip hop organization Urban Umpires.
His latest album, Saga Of The Simian Samurai, features production from Kool Keith collaborator TOMC3.
