Rascal Flatts are a country group formed by bassist Jay DeMarcus in Nashville in 2000, best known for their slick sound and harmonious singing. The band's current line-up is DeMarcus, Gary LeVox on vocals and Joe Don Rooney on guitar.
The band's debut album Rascal Flatts released in 2000 was the start of a commercially and critically successful career. They have sold over 13 million albums and received a sting of awards, including a Grammy for their 2006 song "Bless the Broken Road", and the Academy of Country Music's Top Vocal Group award for the last six years in a row.
