Overview Edit

The Ego Has Landed is a compilation album by English pop singer Robbie Williams. After the success of Williams around the world (especially in Europe), Williams was signed to Capitol Records in the United States, which is a part of EMI, the album was released in May 1999 in the United States and Canada, and later issued worldwide. It is not classed as one of his own solo albums as it was a compilation of his first two albums. It was his American debut album, combining tracks from his two official UK studio albums at the time, Life Thru A Lens and I've Been Expecting You. The title is a parody of the famous transmission, "The Eagle Has Landed," from the first manned spacecraft to land on the moon.

Looking to try/buy some new music from an artist I'd not heard before, I picked up William's latest. Wow. This CD is simply great. I'm not aware of Williams' background but he certainly learned how to write songs with HOOKS. I love almost every song on this CD. "Lazy Days" starts the music out on a great note, this is currently my favorite song. "Millenium", "No Regrets" and "St…

1 stars 1 star. I would have given him none but it won't do that.
I come from the same place as Robbie does and I think he is shameful to us. Of all the people to become famous it had to be him. Everybody in England has heard of him and his songs and I wish we didn't. Americans if u like him so much u can keep him and his songs.
