three and one-half starsi picked this vinyl up at its release and played it very little. It didn't seem to move me too much. Recently while transferring my Vinyl to digital I got the chance to hear it again "for the first time". It's really a fine effort. Taylor leans heavily on synth and programming but never fails to let the silicon chips block out the soul. We even get to hear a bit of Brian May guitar. Lush in its production Taylor layers his sound so well it still sounds pretty fresh today amid all the synth drums…
