Bass-heavy and dull mix lets down interesting materialI agree 100% with others here who comment that the mix on this album is truly dreadful. The bass overwhelms everything else and the overall sound is compressed ("loud") and muddy. I imagine these problems are far less noticeable if you are using tiny speakers or earbuds, but on a good old-fashioned stereo system with decent electronics and speakers the effect is quite unpleasant.
