Biography

Edit

When Saliva formed in 1996 and released their eponymous independent debut album they were in a position to add their genre bending touches to a post grunge, rock-radio friendly landscape inhabited by the likes of Staind and Puddle of Mudd. Their debut sold well locally and by 2001 they had been snapped up by Island records with whom they released Every Six Seconds.

Back Into Your System followed in 2002, and the single "Always" from the album of the same name topped the US Modern Rock charts.

2004's Survival of the Sickest was followed by Blood Stained Love Story which was released in 2007.

Throughout their careers the music of Saliva has been sought after for promotional purposes. Several tracks have been used for video game soundtracks, ice hockey events and wrestling themes.
