If anyone loved Savage Garden's debut album, then you must have this cd. Although it is differnt from their first, it is still the best cd i have ever heard. I have been a fan for almost three years and i was patiently awaiting the release of this one. Darrens voice is amazing and the lyrics are emotional and heart felt. "Crash and Burn" is my fav song because it lets you know that when your down someone will always be there for you. "The Lover After Me" and "I Dont KNow You Anymore" are 2 of the saddest songs i have ever heard. You can feel the sadness in Darrens voice when he sings. He truly sings with passion and meaning. While i was hoping for a album similar to their first, i am not disappointed in this one I Love this cd and darren and daniel.I love all the songs because they express deep meaning and are very powerful. This cd can pick me up when im down, make me dance, and make me cry. I would say its a must buy for any Savage Garden fan or anyone who likes true deep lyrics.

Savage Garden's self titled album was one of my very favorites when it came out--it was very unique and all the songs were different and weren't cookie-cutter songs like most of the groups Savage Garden is compared to. ("Most people who bought this album also bought N Sync"? Gag me with a fork). Anyway, as much as I loved their first CD and made a point of buying this one when it came out, it wasn't nearly as good in comparison--it sounded like they really wanted to be radio and wouldn't write something I would like like "Carry on Dancing" because it wasn't poppy enough. This CD DOES have a lot of good songs, that "time will set you free" one or whatever it's called is my favorite on the CD, and it's worth listening to, but not for days on end like the first one. ^_^ I don't think any one song on the CD is good as To The Moon and Back, but that CD was so good it's hard to make a fair comparison. To give it justice, I will say it's a better CD than a lot of CD's out there by junkier artists and it shouldn't be totally disliked because it pales in comparison to the first--so buy it. But don't excpect it to be as awesome as the first one unless you enjoyed the softer songs on the first CD like Universe and Truly Madly Deeply more than the others.
