Secondhand Serenade is multi-instrumentalist and singer John Vesely, born in California in 1980. Vesely, a bass player, played in a number of bands including Sounds Like Life before deciding to perform acoustic rock music. Vesely recorded Secondhand Serenade's debut album, Awakein 2005, promoting the album on the net through MySpace. It has gone on to sell over 10,000 copies and featured in the iTunes Top 100. The album was revised and re-released in 2007. Vesely has another work in progress, which is planned for release in 2007.
