Crawlspace were formed in 1994 and after changing their name to Sevendust they released their eponymous album in 1997. The current members are Lajon Witherspoon (Vocals), John Connolly (Guitar, Vocals), Sonny Mayo (Guitar), Vinnie Hornsby (Bass), and Morgan Rose (Drums, Vocals).
By 1999 they had released their second album Home which featured Skin from Skunk Anansie (on "Licking Cream") and Chino Moreno from Deftones (on "Bender"). They toured with many of their contemporaries including Godsmack and Metallica and in 2001 released their third album Animosity, this time collaborating with Aaron Lewis of Staind on the song "Follow".
Their fourth album is widely regarded as their best. Seasons contains hit singles "Broken Down" and "Separate" The single "Enemy" was used as the official theme song for WWE Unforgiven 2003.
Next was released in 2005 and debuted at No.20 in the Billboard charts. 2007's Alpha followed.
The next album, due for release at Christmas 2007, will be a retrospective, though it will also contain three new songs.
