5 stars The new kings of heavy metal
Just because lead singer Lajon Witherspoon is black, don't dismiss him as a rapper with a heavy metal band at his arsenal, because that is definately NOT what Sevendust is. Sevendust is straight-up heavy metal. No but's about it. They are easily the heaviest band out there, and every person in the band has an awesome talent at their instrument. Guitarists John Connoly and Clint Lowery are 1-2 punch guitarists, almost as good as James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett. Bassist Vince Hornsby holds his own…

3 stars Sevendust is back with a decent album
Sevendust is one of my favorite bands. they have an unbelievable vocalist, who which I believe has yet to release a super smash hit. The album is good but it could be better, songs like home and licking cream fail to deliver and it is very bland throughout the cd However songs like Denial, Grasp and Crumbled keep you very hypnotized with there great music and lyrics, I reckemond this cd to anyone who loves great hard rock music
