A good concept, but it could have been a lot better.After being enchanted by FAT CITY and STEADY ON, I bought COVER GIRL expecting something similiar. There is no debate that Shawn Colvin is extremely talented. Her albums have been amazing, this is the sole exception. It would have been a better idea to mix some originals in with these covers, since her own songs are experiences beyond the album.
