Simple Plan

Simple Plan grew from the remains of a Canadian school band called Reset. The band started in earnest in 2002 when Jeff Stinco (Lead Guitar), Chuck Comeau (Drums), Pierre Bouvier (Vocals), Sébastien Lefebvre (Rhythm Guitar), David Desrosiers (Bass) recorded their first album No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls.

The pop-punk album contained contributions from their peers in the genre, including Mark Hoppus from blink-182 and Joel Madden (Good Charlotte). Simple Plan toured extensively with the album, playing more than 300 shows and opening for Green Day, Good Charlotte and Avril Lavigne.

In 2004 Still Not Getting Any…. was released and, as before, they toured extensively in support of the album. By 2006 they had slowed down, intending to have a rest before starting work on their next album.
