Southern rapper Slim Thug made a bold prediction with the title of his debut studio album, but Already Platinum is still only certified gold three years after its release date. Still, considering he had to make extensive late changes to the record after much of an earlier version leaked online, selling over 500,000 is still pretty good going. Produced by the Neptunes and Jazze Pha, it featured guest raps from Pharrell and T.I., but one track featuring Jay-Z had to be scrapped following the leak. Boss of all Bosses, which features production from Timbaland and Jermaine Dupri and guest spots from Devin the Dude and Young Jeezy, was released in 2008.
