Overview Edit

Astro Lounge, released in 1999, is the second full length album from the Californian rock band Smash Mouth. It includes the single "All Star", which reached number four on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and was also featured on the soundtrack to the movie Shrek (the song is played during the film's opening credits). The song also plays out over the last scene of the 1999 movie Mystery Men. Several other songs were released from the album, including "Waste" and "Then the Morning Comes".

5 stars Absolutely Awesome
Never before has a group made so many amazingly catchy songs on one album alone. "All Star" is definitely the lead song on this album. Though its overplayed now, it still rules. It's not Smash Mouth's fault the song is overplayed, its our fault. Because we love it so much. Then of course there's "Diggin' Your Scene" and "Then the Morning Comes" and the retro-style "Can't Get Enough Of You Baby". This CD is great for anyone of any age. No Explicit Content like their first album "Fush Yu Mang" had…

3 stars 2 are really tight, the rest all sound the same
This album is kinda cool. I like the like title, but only 2 of the songs. The best ones are 'Allstar' and 'I can't get enough of you baby.' I totally love 'Allstar!' W/the rest of the songs, the words are kinda mixed together. I think you should just buy the single of 'Allstar,' but if you can afford to buy a CD w/just two tight songs on it, go ahead.Chow. peace! {=o)
