5 stars Really two different albums
This CD is actually a compilation with cuts off of "A Group Called Smith" and "Minus-Plus" as well as several of Gayle McCormick's solo cuts. Great cover of Shirelles song "Baby Its You", Stones "Let's Spend the Night Together," and The Band's "The Weight." Gayle McCormick had one of the best voices of the late 60s early 70s but the group faded as quickly as it came. This CD is missing my favorite cut, "Since You've Been Gone" off the Minus-Plus album. 1 stars Group Smith CD not so good
Bought one of these Italian remakes on an auction site for $30, shouldn't have paid more than $3 for it. It is not remastered and the quality of the audio is the worst I've ever heard on a CD. To sum it up, TERRIBLE. I've learned there is another version of this CD which IS digitally remastered and includes five bonus tracks. It's a bit hard to find but worth the hunt.
