Biography

Edit

Solar Twins are an English electronica duo with Joanna Stevens (vocals) and David Norland (producer/every instrument/vocals; grew up in west London, classically trained). Stevens and Norland worked previously as the band 91 Tales, releasing the nine track album "Good For You, Good For Me" on Evil Flower records in 1996.

Solar Twins were signed by Guy Oseary at Maverick Records after playing at Viper Room. They are known for their version of Rock the Casbah, found on the soundtrack to the movie Brokedown Palace. They made one album, and split after attempting a second, thwarted by insurmountable creative differences.
