Biography

Edit

Something Corporate is an American piano rock band formed in 1998. The current members are Andrew McMahon, Josh Partington, Kevin "Clutch" Page and Brian Ireland.

Their debut EP Audioboxer was released in 2001 on Drive-Thru Records and their major label debut, Leaving Through the Window followed in 2002. The album was a critical and commercial success and the singles "I Woke up in a Car" and "Punk Rock Princess" followed.

Their second full length release was 2003's North but by 2004 the band was growing tired of touring and decided to take a break. During this time Partington formed Firescape. McMahon formed Jack's Mannequin but discovered during this time that he had leukemia. Treatment was successful and he went on to tour and promote the Jack's Mannequin album Everything in Transit (2005).

In 2006 Something Corporate was reunited, though a new album has not yet been announced.
