Leaving Through The Window is possibly one of the best releases of the past 5 years. Think Ben Folds Five only more punk rock, and the piano as part of the group instead of center stage. 3 stars Radio rock done right
Something Corporate's name is obviously an ironic reference to the type of music they play- radio rock. However, they have a few things that set them apart- one being Andrew's piano, the other being that they seem to know exactly what they are doing. "Leaving Through the Window" is an album full of huge, memorable choruses and good music. Each song seems to have the makings of a hit single, and their blend of piano, pop, and Drive-Thru style punk is definitely ready to be unleashed on the masses…
