Biography

Edit

With eleven studio albums to his credit, Stuart Davis has carved out a unique wavelength in the musical spectrum, taking the heady topics of spirituality, sexuality, life/death, and good/evil, and crafting them into inimitable pop/rock songs with lyrical flair and unforgettable hooks.

In addition to his musical expressions, Davis' hosts a television series, Sex, God, Rock 'n' Roll, with co-host Kandyse McClure (Battlestar Galactica), presenting comedy, news, and in-depth interviews with unconventional icons.

The multifarious Davis is also an author, with his first book -- also titled Sex, God, Rock 'n' Roll -- available soon. He's a fictional character too, appearing in Ken Wilber's novel Boomeritis.

The trinity of albums most recommended by Davis' fans are the eponymous Stuart Davis (2001) -- also known as "the silver album" or "silver naked" for Davis' metallic-paint adorned nude form on the cover -- Bell (2003), and ?What (2006). His song "Already Free" from Something Simple (2008) was featured in the film Drillbit Taylor.
