Overview Edit

Diary is the first studio album from the band Sunny Day Real Estate. The album is considered by many to be a defining emo album of the second wave. It has also been called the missing link between post-hardcore and the nascent emo genre.

Diary was remastered and reissued in 2009, with bonus tracks "8" and "9" from their 1993 7-inch Thief, Steal Me A Peach and newly written liner notes.

3 stars Pretty good
this album is Pretty good to me. I dig the drums&the Grooves. Hit&Miss on the vocals&songwriting but overal this Album has it's charms. "In circle",&48 are my cuts here. I tend to keep up on the Albums that dropped on Sub Pop Records espcially back in the day.
