Tesla is an American hard rock band formed in 1984. The current members are

Jeff Keith, Frank Hannon, Dave Rude, Brian Wheat and Troy Luccketta. Former member Tommy Skeoch was replaced by Rude in 2006.

They have released eight studio albums; the latest is 2008's Forever More. The band consider their seminal album to be 1992's successful Psychotic Supper but they also achieved solid success with their platinum selling debut Mechanical Resonance (1986) and The Great Radio Controversy (1989) is the album which broke them into the mainstream and spawned the hits "Heaven's Trail (No Way Out)", "Love Song", and "The Way It Is".
