Biography

Edit

The 69 Eyes is a Finnish rock group formed in 1989. Their original style was something they termed 'garage-glam', but latterly they have adopted a gothic-rock direction which has served to increase their worldwide fanbase.

Their debut was the Finnish release of Bump 'n' Grind in 1992 but the shift of direction came with the international release of their fifth album Wasting The Dawn in 1999. With a fascination with cemeteries, Jim Morrison and The Crow, their metamorphosis to "Helsinki Vampires" was complete.
