The All American Rejects is an American pop band which formed in the late 90s. Their first EP was independently released in 2000 and they followed this with a second EP, Same Girl, New Songs in 2001. After touring with the EP the band signed with Doghouse Records and their eponymous debut album was released in 2002. The album reached a healthy No.25 on the US Billboard charts and also did well in the UK, where it made a respectable showing at No.19.. The success of the album was due, in part to the single "Swing Swing" which reached the top ten of the US Modern Rock chart and achieved good radio airplay.
The follow-up album, Move Along, was released in 2005 and bettered its predecessor by reaching No.6 on the Billboard 200 chart, buoyed by the success of singles including "Dirty Little Secret" and "It Ends Tonight".
The band have recently released their third album which they hope will be another platinum seller.
